Set in an idyllic corner of Sicily, the 2025 artist retreat unfolded over 12 immersive days of painting, learning, and shared experience.

Guided by highly experienced professional artist David Moore, students - many of them painting en plein air for the first time - saw their work evolve demonstrably over the course of the workshops. A small oil painting was completed at each class and of course, many works completed outside class time.  

The landscape itself felt like a collaborator: beautiful, abundant, and close at hand.

Painting lay at the heart of each day, while evenings were filled with conversation, laughter, and long shared dinners. It was a richly rewarding experience for everyone involved.

A group exhibition consisting of selected works by each artist will be held in 2026.
